Sales representative & marketing coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS
- post-secondary education
- min. 5 years of sales experience in the wine industry
- high levels of wine knowledge
- WSET training an advantage, or possess basic wine appreciation/education courses and/or sales related experience
- demonstrated knowledge and experience in marketing and PR area
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint (MS office)
- strong presentation and communication abilities
- highly organized and goal-oriented with the ability to respect tight schedules
- negotiation and problem solving skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- positive, confident, and outgoing personality
- industry knowledge and extensive industry contacts
- independent and strongly motivated
- able to adjust to flexible work hours, open to working evenings and weekends
- determination to succeed in a highly competitive market
- work independently with minimum supervision
- dedicated to create and maintain strong customer relationships
- strong work ethic with ability to work some evenings and weekends; overnight travel may be required from time to time
- previous experience is a must
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales area:
- main sales representative of a small premium winery
- create, manage and develop business relationships
- develop clear, weekly and monthly activity plans to meet company goals
- perform on premise promotions with targeting licensee accounts
- organize and participate in marketing events to support our portfolio and build brand loyalty
- introducing and launching new products
- attend promotional and special events
- sales forecasting, budget management, sales reporting
- seek and build new business opportunities in all trade channels
- analyze sales-related statistics
- consistent communication with general manager
Marketing area:
- coordinates, maintains and executes marketing campaigns and budgets
- leads website administration and executes all social media programs
- cooperate on building marketing programs, plan and strategy
Others:
- valid BC driver’s license, should be able to lift 30lbs on occasion
