A succesful and dynamic Okanagan Winery is looking at hiring an Experienced Assistant Winemaker

Position requirements:

·         Graduated from a post-secondary Oenology program.

 

·         Being a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident to be considered for this position.  No exceptions.

 

·         Minimum 5 years of experience including some experience working as an Assistant-Winemaker.

 

·         Possess impeccable Laboratory Skills.

 

·         Have strong forklift skills.  Mechanical skills an asset.

 

·         Experienced at using a Winery Management Software.

 

·         Have excellent work ethic, record keeping skills and be organized.

 

·         Being able to perform efficiently and calmly in a stressful environment.

 

·         Being prepared to work overtime and outside business hours during harvest, bottling and when the situation requires it.

 

·         Self-motivated, willing to improve your skills, ability to adapt to a changing environment and ambitious.

 

·         Have proven leadership skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.

 

·         Have a positive attitude, good people skills and the ability to interact with the public.
