Vineyard Technician (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Church & State Wines, one of BC's most well-known and fastest growing wineries, is looking for an ideal candidate to fill a Vineyard Technician position immediately for their Okanagan vineyards. 

This position is for someone with multiple seasons of vineyard experience under his or her belt and has a focus on irrigation and irrigation management. This person will report to the vineyard manager.

The candidate will have:

- 3+ years vineyard experience

- Experience with irrigation systems and management

- Valid drivers license and own vehicle

- The ability to work unsupervised

- The ability to lift 45lbs and walk on uneven ground

Duties include:

- Pruning until April

- Irrigation system start-up

- Irrigation upgrades and maintenance

- Pressure bombing

- Pest / disease monitoring

- End of season irrigation blowout

$14 to $18 per hour depending on experience.
