Osoyoos Larose Winery seeks enthusiastic individuals to work in the cellars all year with a full time position.
Osoyoos Larose is an ultra-premium, terroir-driven wine that fuses Old World tradition and knowledge with New World technology, spririt and adventure. Co-created by Bordeaux-based Groupe Taillan, owner of Chatueau Gruaud Larose, the wine is produced in the South Okanagan adjacent to Lake Osoyoos. In the Old-World tradition of most Bordeaux Estates, Osoyoos Larose makes two wines from every vintage; Le Grand Vin, perfect for cellaring, and Pétales d’Osoyoos, ideal for drinking now.
The work will include everythings from grape receival until bottling and include pump-overs, additions, monitoring fermentations, draining and pressing tanks, barrel preparation and filling, sanitation, wine racking and transfers, finning, bottling…
Candidates should have good attention to detail, the ability to work with a team, and enthusiasm for wine and winemaking. Candidates with motivation and capacity will have the possibility to take some responsibility in relation with cellar master and winemaker.
Candidates with cellar experience preferred.
