Road 13 Vineyards is hiring for the year-round position of Hospitality Manager.

With two tasting rooms including a stunning Executive Lounge for our Wine Club members, Road 13 has become a must-see destination in the Golden Mile. 

The Hospitality Manager, is the front line of our customer experience. Expected to be gregarious, outgoing with strong customer service skills, the manager will set the standard for our seasonal tasting room staff.

Summer Duties include but are not limited to:

-Responsible for look, feel and cleanliness of all public areas.

-Hiring and training of seasonal staff

               -Scheduling of seasonal staff

               -Ensure that all staff are aware of and follow in-house and licensing rules and regulations.

               -Staff safety training

               -Training incoming staff.

               -Maintaining/monitoring staff morale

-Communication with tour operators, visitor centres, hotels and other accommodators.

-Event planning and execution

  -Event sales

-Event reports including profitability

-Expected to stay through completion on all events

-Weddings

-Staff Parties

-Ordering of wine shop food and merchandise

               -Pricing and Display

               -Signage

               -Tasting notes & price sheets up to date

               -Daily cash correct and enough change

-Monitoring wine and merchandise inventory to ensure enough stock on hand and to facilitate special promotions. ie: ‘last of’ & new releases

-Keeping wine club database up to date

-Assisting in wine shop and lounge  

 

Winter Duties Include but are Not Limited To:

 -Assisting Administration Staff with Duties

                   -Inventory

               -Order Desk

               -Bookkeeping

               -Scheduling/preparation of offsite/onsite events

               -Answering Phones

               -Website managment

-etc.

 -Assisting Winemaking Staff

               -Ordering Supplies

               -Tracking bottling Schedule

               -Ordering and checking labels

               -etc.

-Assisting General Manager

               -Scheduling

               -Inventory movement

               -etc.
