Bartier Bros. has 3 positions available immediately to join our production team in the vineyards and winery.
Diverse responsibilities and activities revolving around the yearly production cycle. You need to be able to work in and be responsible to a team. You’ll need to be able to learn from that team, and bring your perspective to help to train the team.
Tasks will be as diverse as hand-work with the vines, tractor operations, grapevine propagation, plowing snow, vine water-stress monitoring, processing grapes, filling barrels, and equipment repairs and maintenance.
Certifications that are not mandatory but will be helpful include first aid training, heavy equipment certifications, driver’s license code 20 endorsement, OUC Winery Assistant or Viticulture Programs.
Candidates with experience working in a farm setting, a winery, or with equipment operation will have an advantage, but these are not necessarily mandatory; we can train anyone that has the basic qualifications of honesty and a work ethic. Training will be provided for every aspect of the job.
Candidates will ideally live in the south Okanagan (Penticton and south), and will need to have a class 5 drivers license or better.

starting annual salary is $50,000 with 3 weeks vacation and extended health health benefits
