Le Vieux Pin and LaStella are boutique wineries from the South Okanagan, BC, Canada. We  have upwards of 50 acres of prime vineyards in Oliver’s Golden Mile, Black Sage Bench, and the Osoyoos Lake district. In our commitment to excellence, Le Vieux Pin and LaStella practice low input viticulture, sustainable farming, and deficit irrigation to achieve very low yields and complex, concentrated flavours in our grapes. We are producing ultra premiums wines and every step of the process is detail oriented from the vineyard to the bottle.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and hard working team players to work with us in our two Tasting Rooma. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills, a “can do attitude”, and be able to clearly articulate our story, philosophy, and practices that make us who we are.

Our work is seasonal. During the months of May to October, we’re looking to fill full time and part time positions to help us deliver our experience. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Open and Close Tasting Room

Greet all visitors to the Tasting room and maintain our detailed experience from start to finish with every customer

Pour, describe wines, our history, our people, philosophy, vineyard and cellar practices that make our wines

Inventory and keeping the wines stocked

Assist customers with sales, shipping, and wine club sign ups

Willingness to be productive and wear many hats

Maintain the cleanliness of the Tasting Room, patio, garden, and building

Previous experience with POS systems is a plus

Prior experience in Hospitality is a plus

Previous experience in selling boutique wine is a plus

Candidates must express a sincere interest in learning about wine and food, ISG and WSET certification is a plus

Candidates must have the Serving it Right or equivalent certification

Physical Demands

Physical requirements include  the ability to lift 50lb, to stand for long periods of time and to walk.  You must be able to talk, hear, taste and smell.

We offer a competitive hourly wage and sales incentives.
