Osoyoos Larose Winery seeks enthusiastic individuals to work in our cellar during the 2015 harvest. We produce ultra-premium Bordeaux-style blends from estate-grown Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet franc, Malbec and Petit verdot. Harvest generally begins the last week of September and runs through to the end of November.
The work will include grape receival and processing, pump-overs, additions, monitoring fermentations, draining and pressing tanks, barrel preparation and filling, sanitation, wine racking and transfers. The person will have the opportunity to work closely with Winemaker and Cellar Master.
Candidates will be expected to work long hours over a two month period. Candidates should have good attention to detail, the ability to work with a team, and enthusiasm for wine and winemaking.
Candidates with cellar experience preferred.
Unfortunately we cannot provide housing or transportation.
