Le Vieux Pin winery and Lastella winery are two boutique wineries from the South Okanagan, BC, Canada. The two wineries have upwards of 50 acres of prime vineyards in Oliver’s Golden Mile and Black Sage Bench, as well as the Osoyoos Lake district. In their commitment to excellence, LaStella and Le Vieux Pin practice low input viticulture and sustainable farming, employing deficit irrigation to achieve very low yields and complex, concentrated flavours in their grapes. Both wineries are producing ultra premiums wines and every step of the process is detailed oriented from the vineyard to the bottle.

 

We are looking for a field operator/tractor driver for a full time seasonal position. This position encompasses the following tasks:

 

• carry out vineyard duties involving lifting and bending (pruning, suckering, tucking, thinning)

• operate a tractor w/equipment (mower, tiller, sprayer) and maintain it

 

Requirements of the position:

 

• able/willing to work long hours when necessary during busy times of the year

• fast paced environment with tight deadlines and is used to repetitive tasks

• You must love working outside in a wet, damp, dusty and or hot environment.

 

• Safety consciousness
• Willingness to learn and ability to work independently
