Banquet Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

We have an opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to join our team at

 Mica Restaurant as the Banquet Manager

 

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar management position

  • Excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills

  • Self-motivated, high energy, professional, and personable

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends

 

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee & coordinate the delivery of all aspects of events in accordance with BEO contracts and management exectations.

  • Manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the banquet department ensuring that they are an integral part of the resort experience

  • Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times

  • Anticipating guest’s needs and providing superior guest satisfaction at all times

  • Manage partner relations with the resort sales/events team and all resort staff

  • Responsible for sales reconciliation for the banquet department

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

  • Liaising with the Banquet Chef  to ensure a seamless guest experience

  • Ordering supplies for the banquet department

  • Maintaining small wares and equipment

What we can offer you:
A competitive combined compensation package of $45,000 - $55,000
