Profile Wine Group, one of Canada’s premier wine agency is currently seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee our on-premise accounts in the Ottawa area. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth and market share from both existing and new accounts. In addition, the successful candidate will be a team player, showcasing proven sales abilities and a history of success as an alcohol beverage sales representative. In depth wine and industry knowledge will be essential for success in working with licensees, suppliers and ensuring compliance with LCBO regulations and policies.
Core Responsibilities:

Sale of wine to existing restaurant clients

Secure new accounts and promote brand awareness

Perform on-premise promotions with targeted licensee accounts

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key licensee contacts

Attend promotional and special events as required

Ensure timely execution of administrative responsibilities related to account management
Education & Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years progressive sales experience within the alcohol beverage industry

Successful completion of WSET, ISG or industry related courses is an asset

Post-Secondary education in marketing and/or sales related studies
Skills/Competencies

Highly motivated self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills

Above average customer service skills including regular contact, problem resolution, follow through , and attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast paced and demanding environment

Strong oral, written, and sales negotiation skills

Ability to use technology to support daily sales activities. i.e. social media, email, etc..
