Bookkeeper/Office Administration   Full Time - Penticton

Highly regarded and successful BC winery is seeking a bookkeeper/ office administrator with a strong knowledge of accounting, excellent communication and organizational skills.

 

Duties include

Working with Simply Accounting program

Data entry of all sales documents

Accounts receivable/payable

Bank reconciliation

Inventory control, tracking and reconciliation

Calculate and process CRA returns, PST, GST, Payroll deductions

Bi weekly and monthly Payroll

Monthly reporting to BCLDB

Produce monthly statements or as required by management

General office duties:-

Website updating, social media

Assisting with customer enquiries, order desk duties and wine related enquiries

 

 

 

 

 

Required qualifications

A diploma or degree in Bookkeeping or accounting

Minimum of 2 years of related working experience

Proficiency in Microsoft office and Excel

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Knowledge or desire to learn more about wine and the wine industry would be an asset. 

 

Personal Skills

 

Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently

Friendly nature and enjoy working in a busy environment.

 

 

 

Compensation

 

Starting at $23 - $28 hourly rate based on experience

Health benefits available after 6 months employment
