Tasting Room Server (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Highly regarded, innovative and successful BC winery is seeking a Seasonal Tasting Room Server for July and August 2017, 4 to 5 days per week.  Perfect for university or college students. 

 

 

 

As a Tasting Room Server you will be energetic, have a passion for the BC wine industry, possess exceptional customer service skills, be over 19 and have had prior serving experience.

 

 

 

Duties and skills include

 

  • Greeting and hosting/pouring seated wine tastings.

  • Provide an educational experience promoting and selling LA FRENZ wines. 

  • Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing customer service skills.

  • Multi tasking, cleaning, re-stocking and carrying out for customers.

 

 

 

Required qualifications

 

  • Serving It Right Certificate.

  • Weekend availability.

  • Serving experience.

  • Wine knowledge an asset.

 

 

 

Personal Skills

 

  • Friendly nature that enjoys working in a busy and sometimes stressful environment with a smile.

  • Provide excellence in customer service at all times.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • A love of wine and wine knowledge.

  • Must be physically active and able to lift a 38 lb box of wine.

 

 

 

Compensation

 

Above industry standard salary.
