Earlco Vineyards is looking for people to join our growing team. As a vineyard supervisor or vineyard manager, applicants will be integral to the management and operations of Earlco Vineyards Ltd.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Direct oversite of multiple vineyards from Oliver up to Naramata.
- Management of the vineyard crew.
- Quality control over activities undertaken by the crew in the vineyard.
- Working closely with the rest of the management team to ensure a smooth and operationally efficient company.
- Contract development and maintenance.
- Hands on vineyard and tractor work.
- Installation and development of new vineyards.
- Constant communication with winemakers and land proprietors regarding the status of the vineyards.
Qualities:
- Open to new methods and ideas regarding our growing wine industry.
- Driven to ensure absolute quality while working with the seasonal differences year to year.
- Able to work in teams.
- Organized and able to communicate clearly.
- Able to work extended hours when necessary.
Experience within the industry is necessary however we are open to working with individuals who are interested in growing within the company as they develop their skills and experience.
Compensation is based on experience and is competitive within the industry.
These positions are full time with benefits after three months.
