We are looking for a talented and energetic person to join our Tasting Room team.
We have a WINESHOP ASSOCIATE position available beginning immediatley until end of October. Candidates must be available to work minimum 20-30 hours/week, weekends and holidays. There is possibility for additional hours if desired.

Position Responsibilities/Duties:
- Warmly greeting guests; providing them with an exceptional and memorable tasting experience tailored to guest’s knowledge level
- Pour and describe the wines; sharing information about our history and philosophy, as well as our vineyard and cellar practices that make our wines special
- Assisting customers with wine purchases
- Assisting current wine club members, and enrolling new members
- Stocking and merchandising shelves
- Open and Closing duties
- Maintaining the cleanliness of hospitality areas including the wineshop, grounds, and tasting areas.
- Representing the winery at periodic off-site events/farmers markets
- Assisting with preparing and shipping orders
- Assisting with special events if required
- Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hospitality, retail or sales is a bonus
- WSET Certification or other wine education is an Asset
- Experience with Vin65 an asset
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skill
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of wine or a keen interest in wine
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Comfort with computers (for our basic point of sale software)
- Serving it Right Certificate
- At least 19 years of age
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job. These include but are not limited to: 1) lifting up to 50lbs while navigating stairs or equipment, 2) standing for extended periods of time
