We are a leading National Wine & Spirits Company representing some of the most prestigious wineries and distilleries worldwide. We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Consignment Sales Representative for the GTA. The primary role of this position is to increase sales and to develop the on-premises market share of our consignment products through building relationships with existing and new accounts in the restaurant trade. We are looking for a motivated individual who is knowledgeable with the wine & restaurant industry and who lives in the GTA.
This exciting self directed position will sell the Charton Hobbs (CH) portfolio of prestigious consignment wines in targetted accounts with the central focus on the GTA on-trade accounts. This position is right for you if you need flexible hours and days of week to work. We will supply you with lists of accounts to call upon – you use your sales skills and wine and food pairing knowledge to make the sale!
Potential candidates must have completed basic wine education/appreciation courses, and have a passion for wine and the restaurant industry. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience and who possess:
- Skills at closing the sale.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Leadership and ability to influence major accounts.
- Ability to set and execute high standards of performance.
- Advanced organization and planning skills and the ability to respect tight schedules
- WSET or ISG certification.
This position is a 100 % commission sales position. The company will provide the sales system and administrative support to give you maximum time selling these great products. Delivery will be done by the company.
