The Fine Wine Division of Philippe Dandurand Wines is recruiting a Fine Wine Representative for the Toronto region.

The Fine Wine Division is composed of a small and dynamic team. It focuses exclusively on the development of Vintages products and high-end private import consignment products.

As part of this team, reporting to the National Director Fine Wines, the Fine Wine Director Ontario will be responsible to:

 Develop sales of the Vintages wines and consignment in a territory composed of key accounts in Toronto: High end restaurants and top LCBO stores

 Develop strong and lasting business relationships with buyers, sommeliers and with the LCBO/Vintages decision-makers

 Develop a network of private customers and corporate accounts

 Actively support the promotion and the development of the Fine Wine Division in Ontario through press-related, PR and event activities

 Identify new business opportunities in this territory

 Execute successful promotions and put in place programs to develop the distribution

 Identify market needs and work in conjunction with the Fine Wine team to improve the product offering

 Participate in the organization of regular events with producers, such as winemaker dinners, and tastings

Experience:

 Education: college degree or equivalent

 Significant experience (minimum 2 years) and success in the sale of wines and spirits, either in distribution (agent, producer), in hotel /restaurant industry (sommelier, F & B etc.), or retail

 Experience in a vineyard and/or winery is an asset

Well established relationships with buyers in Fine Dining restaurants, High End hotels, Luxury accounts in GTA

Knowledge:

 Excellent knowledge of wines acquired either in an academic setting (WSET, ISG, etc.) or through previous experience (sommelier, retail sales)

 Existing contacts with downtown restaurants in Toronto is an important asset

 Bilingualism is an asset

 Availability to work full time hours and occasional nights and weekends as required

Salary and bonus: Competitive Package, depending on experience
