Toronto Territory Manager
Full Time Position
Reports to: David Thompson
Who we are:
We are a medium sized agency poised for growth in the on-premise and retail channels of the LCBO
We are currently looking for a dynamic, results oriented individual who is respected by your existing on-premise buyers.
This position requires a self-motivated individual willing to grow market share and contribute to growth strategy. Relationship building is a must to obtain future business in existing and new accounts.
Job Summary:
To grow on-premise sales and market share of Vintage Trade wines in the city of Toronto.
Become an expert advisor for wines offered by Vintage Trade (research, tasting)
Grow Vintage Trade sales by systematically adding our wines to our customer's wine lists at strategic times during the year.
Develop effective, reportable method of tracking sales progress
In-territory promotion with visiting Suppliers (tastings, sales calls, trade days)
Must have a valid driver's licence and passport for international travel.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
• Several years wine selling experience to Toronto licensees with excellent existing relationships.
• Professional presentation skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Sommelier or WSET course completion
• A hard worker with a positive attitude
• Someone used to working with all types of customers-Chef/owners, Sommeliers, Club managers, Hotel buying groups, Chain accounts
• Advanced organizational and planning skills; and the ability to respect tight schedules and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor or Business Degree.
Compensation will reflect the applicant's experience. This position requires flexible hours including some nights and weekends with Trade Shows, Supplier Dinners/Events beyond the normal work day.
The next 2 years should provide significant opportunities for growth within the Vintage Trade organization.
