Senior Wine Consultant (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

  Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario

Two Sisters Vineyards is seeking Wine Consultants with certifications preferably certified Sommeliers for our Wine Boutique and Tasting Room. We are looking for candidates with the following abilities:

Sommelier certification (or in the process of)

To effectively execute the selling process by providing a welcoming wine experience while offering superior customer service.

Greet and engage all visiting guests

Minimum 2 years’ experience within industry

Confirming sales with a thank-you and an invitation to return

Conducting tours and leading winery experiences where applicable and as qualified

Stocking wine, retail items and packaging

Assist with monthly inventory

Set-up and tear down for tasting events and special event programs (on or offsite)

Able to work up to 40 hours a week including some evenings holidays and weekends

Able to work cashier and in house POS system

Assist in representing winery at trade shows as needed

Job Requirements:

Excellent selling skills

Smart Serve Certification

Detail Oriented – multitasker

Strong work ethic – individually and as part of a team

Able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
