Supply Chain Coordinator (1 year contract) (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Trialto Wine Group Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for our Western Canadian Market to join our dynamic team in Vancouver (Yaletown) for a one year contract position (starting in January 2018). Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Coordinator will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager for Western Canada, as well as the local sales team, suppliers and vendors to ensure accurate purchasing and receiving of inventory. This position is responsible for processing order requests as indicated by the Supply Chain Manager, tracking and verifying receipt of shipments, and completing all necessary paper work administration to ensure liquor regulation compliance.

In addition, this position is also responsible for (but not limited to) : 

  • Updating inventory data sheets on a regular basis
  • Uploading/downloading inventory data for analysis
  • Communicating product changes with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Processing required paper work for purchasing and receiving
  • Monitoring shipment compliance with local liquor boards
  • Completing pricing administration and product record updates
  • Processing new product registrations and listing applications
  • Confirming and processing orders for the prairie provinces

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Commerce/Business Administration from a recognized College or University, specialization in Operations and Logistics will be preferred
  • Previous experience working in the supply chain field an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite
  • Organization and acute attention to detail required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and customer service orientation
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and detail
  • Basic knowledge of accounting terms and systems an asset
  • A passion for wine
