Logistics Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

We are seeking an organized and analytical Logistics Coordinator to join our Andrew Peller Import team. Responsibilities include assisting the National Logistics Manager in day to day administrative tasks, process improvements and sales and marketing support.  The ideal candidate will have wine knowledge and have the ability to travel.

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Administration, tracking and transferring of all Andrew Peller Import products nationally.
  • Maintaining master inventory status reports for each province.
  • Ensuring current NAFTA agreements and certificates of origin from suppliers.
  • Maintaining product information across all liquor boards.
  • Ensuring product registration and listing applications are in accordance with liquor board requirements.
  • Processing inter provincial transfers and process and monitor special orders and cross docks and track and advise on anomalies to sales and marketing.
  • Entering all purchase orders into ORACLE and complex data models.
  • Approving all Container World invoices.
  • Accurate and timely preparation and filing of all price changes, temporary price reductions and LTO's.
  • Liaise with Andrew Peller Limited Accounting to rectify discrepancies in pricing and/or stock and ensuring all landed costs are up to date and accurate and maintain data on costing for new or potential products.
  • Promotes a health & safety culture by ensuring a safe and healthy work environment through effective operation of the Health and Safety program, joint H&S committee (if applicable) and compliance with EH&S regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

  • Minimum 2 3 years of data administration experience.
  • Post-secondary education in office/data administration an asset.
  • Wine Industry Knowledge an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, including Excel and Word; technologically proficient to pick up on additional programs (ORACLE, Master PO Tracker).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high urgency environment; able to manage workload independently and prioritize as it pertains to the business.
  • High attention to detail, problem solving and logical thinking.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Desire to continual learn and improve own abilities and company processes.
  • Ability to travel when required for business purposes.
