Painted Rock Estate Winery, in conjunction with another BC winery offering a complimentary portfolio, is looking for an On Premise Sales Manager to cover the Lower Mainland, Whistler and Vancouver Island territory. Are you a successful wine industry expert looking for an opportunity to support your on-premise and boutique accounts with a refined collection of some of the Okanagan’s best wines from two award-winning wineries? We are looking for someone with extensive experience who offers impeccable customer service that is willing to work to alongside our dedicated Proprietors to continue building our respective brands.
Competitive salaried pay and bonus structure commensurate with experience. Cellphone, car and benefits allowance offered. Interviews will be held in the upcoming weeks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities of the employee will include:
- Selling the products of the Employer to the Vancouver area Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Vancouver area sub urban territory, and Whistler Territories including but not limited to Licensed Retail Sellers (LRS) accounts, Licensee (On Premise) accounts, Grocery Store accounts, and the Liquor Distribution Board (LDB) accounts
- Marketing and Promoting the products of the Employer
- Representing the brands of the Employer with professionalism and with adherence to the terms of our contract
- Placing sales orders for clients using the Employer tools and software systems
- Monitoring and ensuring client accounts are current and that sales invoices are paid
- Remediation of unpaid sales invoices or outstanding accounts
- Ensuring inventory is managed and reconciled for the warehouses the Employee is responsible for using company software systems
- Delivering wine to accounts when urgent requests arrive
- Management and delivery of Employers sales targets, ensuring that agreed upon sales are achieved or exceeded
- Managing product allocation for Employer accounts
- Meeting with and tasting and sampling of products to gain listings with existing and potential Employer accounts
- Visits to the Employer locations in the Okanagan Valley as required by the Employer
- Assistance with other business activities as determined by the Employer
