Production Assistant - Keg Cleaner (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Direct Tap is a dynamic, exciting, and fast-paced craft beverage distribution company with 110+ partners spanning from breweries to cideries, wineries and distilleries. 

In this role as Production Assistant - Keg Cleaner, you will be based at the freshTAP facility in Vancouver and will report directly to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

This job requires that you work independently, manage your time wisely, and have a demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

  • Operate two keg cleaners
  • Receiving and cleaning dirty kegs according to SOPs
  • Performing quality assurance checks at regular intervals according to SOPs
  • Independently managing the keg cleaning schedule to fulfill all keg cleaning work orders in a timely manner
  • Assist in general maintenance of production space and maintain general cleanliness
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving as required. 
  • Winery experience and forklift training are a plus. 
  • Training for all specialized equipment will be provided. 
  • You must be able to lift 25kg (apx. 50 lbs)
  • Be physically able to perform all jobs
