JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Summary: 

This position will be in charge of the BC Moet Hennessy Champagne and Still Wines portion of the portfolio. The RMM is responsible for the execution of marketing activities and the achievement of sales results for the brands of MH.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

Based from the Burnaby Charton Hobbs office, the RMM will report to the VP of Charton Hobbs Western Canada.  The position requires frequent evening work in addition to the normal daytime related job functions which are split between both in and out of the office requirements.  Additionally the RMM will also be required from time to time to work weekends at specific events.  Some level of domestic and international travel is also incumbent with this position.

·       Execute the provincial marketing plans for all MH brands consistent with the guidelines provided by the General Manager of MH Canada and National Brand Managers, complete monthly status reports, provide market updates as required;

·       Liaise with the Spirits RMM, VP, Sales Manager and the entire sales team and champion the demand and supply forecasts and Latest Estimate (LE’s) for MH brands, pricing recommendations and implementation strategies with the sales team;

·       Help Define the core MH portfolio brands strategic account lists for on-premises, retail, and boutique accounts with the sales team and ensure that quarterly updates of listing status are maintained;

·       Determine with the RMM and the sales team the required input resources to be allocated to core and targeted on and off premises accounts and track spending plans versus planned objectives;

·       Implement  and measure effectiveness of regional PR, marketing activities, and event strategies that reflect  National brand orientations;

·       Responsible for  operating within overall Advertising and Promotion (A&P)  budget for MH brand spending in the region, ensuring the proper monitoring of all A&P spends and corrective actions when required;

·       Responsible for product knowledge and training of the BC sales team, accounts, targeted high-net worth-individual groups, or other clients of the complete MH portfolio of brands. 

Job Requirements:   

·     Bachelor of Commerce degree or higher, Marketing, Business Administration majors preferred,  or 3 or more years job experience directly relevant to luxury goods; 

·     This position requires fluency in Mandarin and English; 

·     Strong presentation and negotiating skills for diverse audiences; 

·     Available for frequent evening and weekend events (sometimes on short notice), both local and international travel – valid passport required; 

·     Strong analytical, organisation and multi-tasking capabilities, able to meet tight deadlines; 

·     Strong level of IT related skills, strong PowerPoint and Excel knowledge and preferably a working knowledge of the CH Cellar and other reporting tools;

·     Proven analytical skills and experience in managing major budgets and large scale marketing projects;

·     Demonstrated ability to multi task, set priorities, negotiate, make presentations, and work as a team player with a diverse universe of related parties is a must;

·     A flair for creative thinking and innovation in developing brand or customer business solutions;

·     Established BC trade contacts both on and off premises;

·     Valid Canadian Passport;

·     Valid BC Driver’s License;
