About Clos du Soleil
Clos du Soleil is a small artisan winery and estate vineyard on the Similkameen Valley Upper Bench. We produce super-premium wines in a Bordeaux style, where Old World elegance meets with New World edge. Our current production is 5,000 cases. We are currently completing a new winery and tasting room facility and will continue to grow. Since our first harvest in 2006 with each new vintage the limited-quantity Clos du Soleil wines continue to delight wine lovers across Western Canada.
Responsibilities
- Build the brand and have fun.
- Take responsibility for growing sales of our wines in the BC Lower Mainland and in Whistler, servicing Restaurants, Retails Stores and Hotels.
- Develop a sales plan to service existing customers, grow sales, and to add new customers. A demonstrable ability to add new markets and new customers will be a key measure of success.
- Plan, communicate, execute. An ability to communicate well, but execute independently is a requirement.
- Performance will be assessed against agreed upon volume targets for each of our wines.
- Provide feedback, insights and market intelligence on a regular basis to support improvement of the Sales Plan.
- Support wine related events (tastings, dinners, festivals, trade events) in the market that will help build the Clos du Soleil brand and drive sales.
Qualifications
- Experience and demonstrated success in a past sales role is a requirement. Candidates with no demonstrable sales track record will not be considered.
- Previous wine sales experience would be ideal but we will consider candidates with beverage, alcohol or package goods sales experience.
- An understanding of wine and wine making would be an asset, WSET or similar training.
- Results oriented, able to work to deliver on Sales Plan targets.
- Independent, able to manage day to day work schedule to achieve goals and as well to work with the larger Clos du Soleil team.
- Develop and foster long-term relationships with Clos du Soleil customers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to use and develop spreadsheets necessary to manage sales including maintaining up-to-date customer records and information.

Compensation
· Base salary with commission and bonus structure.
