With the advent of our newly constructed Visitors Centre as well as substantive interest in the use of our facilities and its 96 acre site, the position of Manager of Hospitality has been created to optimize our business opportunities in this marketplace.

Our ideal candidate profile will: 

• Ensure excellent customer service, including customer queries;
• Demonstrate consistent positive and professional interaction with employees, management and the public;
• Demonstrate a proven track record in dealing with a diversity of clients in the hospitality industry;
• Demonstrate consistent positive and professional interaction with employees, management and the public;
• Have an ability to problem solve when dealing with a variety of sub-contractors on-site;
• Continually focus on the maximization of profitability and sales targets;
• Plan, organize and oversee all events;
• Prepare, analyze and report on the key performance indicators as it relates to event experiences;
• Demonstrate an ability to listen effectively to the client and a needs satisfaction approach to selling;
• Have comfort level with social media as it relates to our target market;
• Liaison with related industry organizations as required; and
• Continually enhance the event experiences to meet our goals.

Requirements for this position is as follows:

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution;
• 1 to 3 years of events supervisory/management experience;

·         Wine education and experience is asset;

·         Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills and experience in training and motivating a team;

·         Ability to communicate in French would be a definite asset; and

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
