Program Details

The Fine Wine Sales Development Program is a 5-6 Month program that will take place at Mission Hill Family Estate in the Okanagan Valley between April and October 2016. This is an advanced work and study experience for the professional development of prospective future sales professionals to build a sales career in the wine industry. Upon completion of the program, each participant will be assessed for a permanent Sales placement with the Mark Anthony Group selling organization in Canada. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Your challenge will be to successfully complete all of the education and training requirements, including gaining a deep understanding of sales skills, our brands, our philosophies on sustainability and dedication to precision viticulture.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Drive Premium Wine Sales on property through providing unique visitor experiences
  • Sell in the Tasting Rooms and Salons, lead educational sessions, private tastings and daily tours to VIP and Special Visitors, focusing on our Premium Portfolio of fine wines
  • Nose all wines prior to special events and provide fine wine sales service at Special/Private events
  • Educate guests on wine pairings and upsell to diners in our fine dining restaurant environments
Qualifications
  • Completed University Degree in Business, Commerce or Related
  • WSET Level II
  • Fully Mobile to Move Across Canada
  • Food and Beverage Service Experience
  • Sales Experience in a Competitive Environment
  • Passion to Win and Drive Results
  • Driver’s License
