Our Old Vines Restaurant is designed to offer our guests the ultimate experience of wine and food in a spectacular vineyard setting.
We have a rare opportunity for the right candidate to join our team as Restaurant Manager. Our successful applicant will be a natural leader with a proven success in creating an environment for the restaurant team to continually deliver a consistently higher level of service and provide a truly memorable food and wine experience for its guests.
The candidate must thrive in high pressure situations and have the ability to multi-task and take initiative. They must have previous hands-on technical service experience in a fine dining setting and be detail orientated and possess a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Previous experience in a Winery restaurant is an asset but not required however an advanced knowledge of Food, Wine and Spirits is required.
The Restaurant Manager will work directly with the Winery Chef to drive business, year round, to the restaurant and onsite catering operations. The Restaurant Manager will further be responsible for leading the front of house management team of Old Vines Restaurant as well as direct the onsite catering operations ensuring we achieve Quails’ Gates operational and financial goals.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a fine dining setting and possess an understanding of brand awareness, budgeting, planning, and be proficient with computers and technology, including POS systems. Applicants must have the ability to work a flexible schedule such as weekends, holidays and varied shifts based on business volumes.
