Our menus are ever changing as we base them around our relationships with local farmers, purveyors and our onsite gardens to ensure the best quality Canadian produce.
Responsibilities
Culinary team members will be involved various types of events and private experiences as well as a la carte dining options.
a la carte & Day-to-Day Prep
- Up keep of par levels and relaying product orders
- Communicating with our service team to ensure smooth daily operation
- Interaction with guest and promotion of our wines
- Input and development of new menu item
Private Events
- Interacting with our guests when required
- Liaising with service staff to ensure proper preparation of service requirements, event timing and finalized number of guests
- Preparation for events in conjunction with our team’s day to day and long-term goals
- Aiding in cleanup after event
- Ensuring Proper Maintenance and cleanliness standards are met always in both staff and guest populated area
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous culinary experience an asset
- Wine knowledge an asset
- Expected to work well and respectfully within a team, including both directly and indirectly with colleagues
- Must be comfortable interacting with the public, and at times large groups
Successful candidates must be willing to immerse themselves in our kitchen’s philosophies and our food and wine culture.
With our training, we will expect to see progression in your theoretical skillset, technical skillset and your attention to detail over the course of employment.
