The hatch is hiring Tasting Room Associates for our 2022 season! We are looking for the greatest group of grape aficionados to join our renegade team of juice slingers and purveyors of stories.

The hatch is the “original” Jason Parkes Customs location and has always been a hub for creativity, and controlled chaos. Not only are you responsible for ensuring guests’ have an unforgettable experience at the hatch, but you will be responsible for being a brand ambassador for JPC as a whole.

Job Description:

·         Greet and welcome guests

·         Manage several groups at a time

·         Maintain in-depth knowledge of the wines, stories, art, and vineyards

·         Competently make recommendations for guests who are purchasing wine

·         Provide exceptional, personalized tastings to all groups

·         Assist with controlling crowds and managing bookings

·         Assist in Inventory management (End of Day Samples, spot counts, accuracy with Point of Sale)

·         Work with the entire team to create a cooperative, helpful, and inclusive work environment

Job Requirements

·         Serving it Right Certificate

·         Able to lift up to 50 lbs

·         Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time

·         Experience in hospitality

·         Able to work weekends and holidays

·         Eager to learn and grow

 

Non-required Assets

·         Tasting Room Experience

·         Wine Training/Education (WSET, ISG, College Programs, etc.)
