Trade Marketing Coordinator
Escalade Wines & Spirits is a rapidly growing national beverage alcohol company representing the portfolio of Vina Concha y Toro, the 5th largest winery in the world, and other premium brands.
Job Summary:
Reporting to Brand Director, dotted line to BC Provincial Manager, this individual will be responsible for providing sales and marketing support to BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan markets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· The Trade Marketing Coordinator will work closely with Brand Director and National Marketing Manager on the development and execution of strategic marketing and sales support initiatives in Western Canada;
· Assist in building and maintaining regional marketing budgets;
· Manage programming applications and listing process by work closely with teams in provinces, various liquor boards and suppliers;
· Provide every day support to sales teams. Participate in sales meetings and take a leadership role in calendar and budget planning for the team to ensure visibility to key dates, meeting requirements and budget updates;
· Design from concept through execution visual communications, marketing assets, and sales materials to support BC, AB and Prairies programming;
· Participate in the planning, development and execution of events;
· Implement creative copywriting and strong brand voice whilst following brand identity guidelines;
· Assists in responding to requests from the brand owners and general manager;
· Process management of various marketing initiatives including timelines, budgets, status, etc;
· Administrative duties such as shipments of sales samples, invoice processing, etc;
· Complete ad-hoc requests as required;
Job Requirements:
· University degree;
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role;
· Ideally basic wine education/appreciation or passion for wines and spirits;
· Approachable with a collaborative/team-player attitude;
· Adaptability to situations, personalities and ever-changing demands;
· Highly motivated and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and apply judgment to prioritize;
· Excellent time management, multi-tasking and follow-through skills;
· Efficient project management skills with the ability to adhere to critical project timelines;
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
· Willingness to learn; receive, process and act on feedback;
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills;
· Experience with design software and social media marketing a plus;
· Available to work at evening/ weekend events as necessary;
· Hold a valid passport;
