Key Account Manager - Western Canada (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

You Are Someone Who 

  • Is passionate about the wine and spirits industry. Formal wine and spirit education is an asset. 

  • Demonstrates a growth mindset.  

  • Is quick to evolve and adapt. 

  • Shows agility and creativity. 

  • Is dependable with a team-first attitude. 

  • Proficient with creating and editing documents in PowerPoint and Excel.  

  • Is competitive with an eagerness to exceed.  

  • Has 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the beverage industry.  

Job Requirements 

This key role will report directly to the Vice President Western Canada and will be responsible for achieving company sales and revenue targets. Roles will include: 

 

  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with select key private accounts across Western Canada to ensure ROY+CO SELECTIONS is a preferred agency of choice. 

  • In-depth understanding and evaluation of portfolio and relevant sales data to locate opportunities within account’s selection and align with customer needs. 

  • Create presentations to Head Office to secure upcoming listings/programming. 

  • Work with customers to confirm proper flyer placement of key products. 

  • Proactively work with inventory team on securing stock needs for upcoming placements. 

  • Assist in the annual brand planning process, including supporting route to market strategy for new brands. 

  • Maximize the ROI on all budget spends within the channel. 

  • Provide recommendations on portfolio placement within competitive set at each account. 

  • Facilitate and/or lead staff training on portfolio to key partners.  

  • Opportunity for the right candidate to manage a local sales team.  

  • Some travel will be required.
