We are currently looking for a dynamic, results oriented individual to fill the position of Sales Representative. This position covers an assigned territory that consists of on-premises and private retail accounts in Calgary, Banff and Edmonton. It requires a self-motivated individual focused on achieving quarterly and yearly KPI’s targets. In addition to meeting sales goals, you will be responsible for carrying out program activations, merchandising, trainings and developing a long-term strategy to ensure AWSM increases market share. Relationship building is a necessity to obtain future business in existing and new accounts. Potential candidates must have a passion for the beverage industry and a competitive spirit that is eager to learn and succeed. Candidates must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and passport. Availability for evening and weekend work is required. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience and who possess:
- Proven skills at closing the sale.
- Event management and promotional activity experience.
- Current or past experience in our industry – WSET education and/or a spirits background.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Professional presentation and recognized ability for persuasive sales.
- Leadership and ability to influence accounts.
- Ability to analyze statistics for targeting sales.
- Ability to set and execute high standards of performance.
- Advanced organizational and planning skills; and the ability to respect tight schedules.
- Bachelor Degree or Business Diploma preferred.
Base salary plus quarterly bonus, car allowance and benefits package commensurate with experience. Business related expenses are also covered. Start date can be negotiated.
