Alberta Sales & Marketing Coordinator / Mid-West Commercial Support (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

We are the largest privately-owned wine and spirits agency in Canada representing some of the most prestigious wineries and distilleries worldwide. We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Sales & Marketing Coordinator based in Calgary. The primary role of this position is to provide Marketing support to the Charton Hobbs Alberta team with secondary responsibilities to support commercial activities in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

 

Sales Support

·         Supporting the Sales Team:

o   summarizing the past weeks sales performance,

o   providing current inventory updates

o   weekly brand focus summary

o   printing sales materials for the sales reps

o   updating the portfolio price lists

·         Manage product allocations in Liquor Connect website

·         Creating event/sponsorship Gift baskets

·         Setting up and working at Trade/Consumer Events

·         Assist the Regional Marketing Manager’s with POS materials and organizing the warehouse

·         Ordering/coordinating the purchase of product samples

Inventory Support

·         Inventory ETA requests

·         Vintage requests

Design support

·         Creating and updating design materials for print

·         Sending out the LTO email bi-weekly

Manitoba/Saskatchewan Marketing support

  • Flyers/Coordination through SLGA Wholesale/Federated Co-op/MBLL
  • Coding of Invoices
  • Website updates (MBLL and SLGA); ensuring proper images, information, etc.
  • Updating and creating product sell sheets
  • Assistance with Brand Decks for Suppliers Visits
  • Submitting applications for events and wine festivals
  • Creating LTO sheets sent to MBLL Vendors

 

 

The Ideal Candidate Should:

·         Be proficient in excel, word processing and graphic design skills, especially Photoshop, CS4, & InDesign, effective oral and written communication skills.

·         Completed basic wine education/appreciation courses

·         Be a self-starter who is eager to advance their career with a keen eye for innovation.

·         Have the ability to see the big picture to improve communication messages based on the target market.

·         Have the ability to read and analyze statistics for targeting & effectively build sales

·         Have the ability to execute high standards of performance and work within tight deadlines to advance the company.

·         Maintain a valid passport for business related travel.
