Create Sales tools:

•  Brand overviews to help sales representatives in the field

•  Brand health checks

•  Competitor performance reviews


Conduct regular sales meetings with Territory Managers to:

•  Review all promotional programs for coming periods

•  Review brand launches

•  Set quarterly objectives and review with team

•  Set extra incentive targets and review with team

•  Review territory performance on a regular basis

•  Execute a brand health check with team to ensure team is aligned with priorities

•  Review industry stats to educate team on global picture of industry



•  Execute regular training session on selling techniques

•  Execute regular training session on Off-Premise execution standards

•  Execute regular training sessions on On-Premise execution standards

•  Provide opportunities to improve wine education

•  Work in market two days per week to develop selling skills through demonstrating and observation as well as feedback

•  Provide work-with forms for each market visit with a sales representative (grow skills through regular feedback)

•  Complete yearly reviews with each sales representative

•  Provide yearly "People Plans" to executive team on growth of each individual


In Market

•  Execute supplier tours with sales representatives to showcase market


Work in market two days per week with Territory Managers to ensure:

•  Brand Priorities are being met

•  Floor, shelf and cold box standards are being met

•  Strong representation of suppliers in OP

•  Growth of buyer relationships

•  IT tracking program is being used correctly

•  Responsible for driving continued success and exceeding all brand priorities

•  Forecasting for all suppliers and SKUs

•  Reporting weekly updates on OTC, shipments, A&P, commissions, margins and total revenue to executive leadership team and brand team

•  Devise strategies with marketing teams to drive sales for each supplier

•  Manage provincial budget and per brand spend

• Mentor, develop and promote sales individuals from within the company

• Present business reviews and work-with's for each supplier in market

•  Managing eight sales representatives & five support staff



• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related training, or equivalent in years of professional experience in a related field

• 3+ years of experience in the management of high-performance teams

• Ability to negotiate and maintain exceptional relationships with clients and consumers both internally and externally

• Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to exercise dynamic leadership

• Strong time, planning and organizational skills

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop effective presentations

• Excellent presentation skills, as well as the ability to speak to a wide audience

• Dynamic and positive, the successful candidate will need leadership and charisma skills to unite and motivate the sales team

• Exceptional analytical skills

• Knowledge of budget management

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

• Availability to participate in evening and weekend events

• Demonstrate a high degree of integrity in the workplace

• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint software
