Dandurand’s purpose is to promote and commercialize high quality wines in order to create category leaders within the wine industry. With over 100 employees, Dandurand Wines is the largest family owned company in the field of importing wines in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
· Increase territory volume and distribution by achieving team and individual targets
· Delivering product and industry knowledge to accounts to be a valuable and informed representative
· Executing on physical calls to key On-Trade accounts to grow Dandurand product visibility
· Manage territory budget and make decisions based on return on investment and customer needs
· Awareness and attention in forecasting territory sales to identify brands and products that the market may need
· Creating and presenting professional PowerPoint presentations for accounts that include and explain current industry data and trends (Provincial & National)
· Cold-calling accounts to capture potential for new business
Technical Requirements & Skills:
· Successful completion of WSET 2 required, successful completion of WSET 3 preferred
· Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in hospitality in Calgary (preferred) or Alberta
· A desire to develop trusted and mutually beneficial relationships with accounts by utilizing exceptional communication skills
· A developed ability to use computer software systems
· Strong organizational, time and budgeting management skills
· Knowledge of the current wine industry is preferred
