Position: Sales Coordinator, AB – Permanent, Full Time
Location: Calgary, AB
Start Date: April 2018
This position coordinates and executes promotional activities related to sales and marketing programs in Alberta. The Sales Coordinator reports to the Director of Sales, AB to provide support with any sales and marketing-related and administrative tasks.
Principal duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales & Marketing
- Updating and distributing monthly summary sheets, price guide, product sell sheets, accolades
- Submitting registration and listing applications for new products for both AB & SASK.
- Event coordination for all AB wine Shows (Grape Escape, Winefest, etc.) and other events/tastings.
- Manage and co-ordinate all supplier visits. From hotel booking, agenda creation and organizing team tastings.
- Media management – Communicate with local influencers and coordinate samples/meetings.
- Support Marketing executions lead and developed by Trade Marketing Manager.
- Maintaining promotional grids for AB market
Administration
- Coordinating sample pick up, and shipments as needed locally and to other provinces
- Manage daily office upkeep including answering the phones, shipping and receiving, ordering office supplies, printing requests from sales reps
- Submitting all invoices and manage the monthly budget tracking
- Booking supplier accommodations when they visit the market
- Help coordinate team meetings, events and training seminars
- Manage and Co-ordinate SLGA applications for new products and LTO programs.
Education & experience:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in marketing or other relevant discipline
- Related experience (1-2 years) in sales coordination or customer service
- Excellent communication and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Event management experience
