Overview:
This role will best fit the individual that thrives in a fast paced, goal orientated environment. If you want to truly work in the wine and spirits industry and have a proven track record of growing sales and cultivating long term buying relationships in an ultra-competitive sales environment. This position is accountable for delivering volume, distribution, net sales and profitability across all categories (Liquor, Wine & Beer), while fostering great working relationships with suppliers and accounts which include retail and on-premise. Responsibilities:
· Take ownership of all Planning, Communication and Sales results for your Territory
· Achieve targets sales plans on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
· Maintain accurate records utilizing internal account/sales trackers
· Manage personal and business expenses throughout your territory
· Selling and executing chain and local promotions
· Travel effectively throughout your territory cultivating a quality face to face call cycle
· Be available for all Festivals, Dinners, Supplier Visits and High-Profile Events across the company’s corporate calendar
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in beverage alcohol or an applicable CPG company with similar industry KPI’s
· A passion for business and the acumen to support that passion with a love for wine and spirits
· Skilled in calculating return on investment and live the “value added relationship” philosophy
· You must have and maintain a provincial driver’s license in good standing, clean drivers abstract, and a valid Canadian Passport with no travel restrictions
· Available to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and some holidays
· University Degree or Equivalent Experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs
