Job Description & Requirements
- Responsible for sales transactions, including point of sale, taking payment and packing orders.
- Providing knowledgeable advice to winemakers about our product line.
- Answering phone calls and providing courteous customer care.
- Managing product inventory throughout the year and placing orders with suppliers as needed.
- Responsible, reliable, and committed, with good communication skills.
- Identifying customers’ needs and providing solutions.
- Communication with team and management regarding product quotes for customers.
- Being up-to-date with new products and their composition.
- Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store.
- Facing and restocking shelves.
- Respond to customer enquiries in person, by email or over the phone in a timely manner.
- Strong understanding of business and accounting practices, inventory and cost -controls.
- Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will be proficient in winemaking practices and would preferably have a post-secondary winemaking education.
Working in wine retail, administration or customer servie is also an asset.
This person must posess a positive attitude and exhibit great customer service.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education level.
Highly competitive salary with annual bonus.
Training and Development provided.
