- - Winery crushpad & cellar experience
- - Great people skills
- - Great level organizational skills
- - Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
- - Experienced use of Excel, Word, Outlook and other business software
- - Self-motivated
- - Competent written language skills
ASSETS THAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE:
- - Winery cellar/crushpad experience
- - Basic understanding of the winemaking, cidermaking and brewing processes
- - Ability to work unsupervised
- - Previous winemaking equipment and supplies sales experience
Qualified applicants should expect to work largely unsupervised using excellent time management skills under the direction of the company Sales Manager. As the job is an inside sales position located at the head office located in Kelowna, the successful applicant would ideally be living in the Central Okanagan to minimize commuting times (Kelowna, West Kelowna or Lake Country) as this is not a work from home position.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Engaging people working in the wine, cider and brewing industries in a consultative sales role representing multiple premium winery, cidery & brewery equipment manufacturers
- Continuously expanding your product knowledge to understand the function and uses for the equipment and supplies we offer
- Propose solutions to winery and cidery employees and owners for their production challenges through effective digital and personal communications
- With support from the Sales Manager, create and submit professional quotations for customers
