The Sales Coordinator provides support to the Ontario Sales Team. The incumbent will coordinate all weekly communication out to the field as well as manage all processing of accounts/payments and other assigned administration tasks including supplying a variety of reports that will enable the field to work more effectively and efficiently. Ensuring all ad hoc requests get taken care of with a sense of urgency is critical to this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: (60%)
- Day to day support for VP and Director of Sales as required or to their needs to the business
- The candidate will manage, track and submit all purchase orders.
- Using Concur, WFG, JDE and KRONOS applications, support the sales management team.
- Support the sales team with new customer/vendor set ups in MDM.
- Coordinate and execute all sales driven meetings onsite and offsite.
- Order and ship any office supplies for team as required.
SALES SUPPORT: (40%)
- The candidate will work closely with the FSE (Field Sales Execution) team in preparing all communication on a weekly basis.
- Communicate sell sheets/image sheets/LCBO marketing guide and any other ad hoc requests that come up by the reps.
- Responsible for updating the agenda for weekly FSE meetings.
- Collection of information for the sales quarterly newsletter “Fresh Pressed”.
- Work closely with the Sales associate leads to also effectively support the Sales associate’s needs and packages.
- Support with the On-Premise Sales team with samples and keeping the sample room stocked.
- Work closely with Trade Marketing to ensure smooth execution of tools for the field team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree, or College diploma preferred.
- Sales support experience is preferred
- Consumer Packaged Goods, or Beverage Alcohol Industry experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel is required
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required with experience communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including Executives
- Demonstrated customer service skills are required
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Self-started and works well independently in an open office surrounding.
- Reporting and analysis skills using Excel is an assest
