National Brand Manager – Moët Hennessy - Champagnes
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Based in the Charton Hobbs’ Montreal office, this position will report to the MH National Brands Director. This challenging position is responsible for the following key tasks;
· Develop and execute national marketing plans on targeted brands, helping each regional marketing manager to implement their local plans, ensuring consistency with Maisons’ international guidelines, and being responsible for brands’ image in Canada;
· Manage A&P budget on each brand, forecast volumes, be accountable for the brand P&L
· Manage day-to-day marketing activities, national events, and assist as required in regional projects;
· Help build the regional marketing plans; plan regional consumer events to increase brand awareness;
· Develop brand communication strategies in coordination with PR director, media and digital agencies, as well as all regional marketing managers;
· Work closely with Financial controller, Demand Planner & Supply Chain Manager (product allocations/launch etc);
· Brand reporting, market and category monitoring leading to tangible recommendations;
· Gather and implement best practices in Canada sharing of best practices;
· Local POSM material development when needed;
· Be the point of contact for MH Maison’s Brand Development Managers and for V.I.P/consumer visits;
· Organize promotional market tours for visiting winemakers and Representatives including trade, media and consumer activities;
· Responsible for product knowledge and training of the marketing & sales teams (including the Portfolio Specialists), accounts, and targeted high-net worth-individual groups, or other clients of the brands, work closely with each regional marketing managers;
· Serve as the local expert and educator of the brand (speak in public on behalf of the brands to educate consumers and increase brand awareness);
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor of Commerce degree or higher, Marketing majors preferred;
· Minimum 3 years of marketing brand management particularly in luxury goods or Wine business
· Solid understanding of food & wine industry; wine technical knowledge would be a strong plus;
· The position requires moderate to high levels of domestic and international travel - valid passport a requirement;
· Moderate amount of evening and weekend event related work schedules;
· Ability to prioritize, multitask, set priorities and work under tight deadline pressures are key skills required for this position;
· Maintain timely reporting/progress records;
· Strong analytical and organization capabilities, project management coordination;
· Strong inter-personal and negotiation skills, team player and consumer service oriented;
· Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal);
· Fluent written and spoken French and English;
· Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills;
· Valid Driving license.
