Based in Vancouver and reporting to the V-P Sales & Operations, Western Canada, the Trade Marketing Director oversees and leads the Trade Marketing to drive successful and effective marketing activities for Dandurand in Western Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Manage volume forecast in collaboration with our demand planning team 
  • Build strategic promotional grids of the entire portfolio
  • Optimize trade spend of our advertising & promotional budget
  • Design and execute market specific promotions for both on and off premise
  • Create and pitch sales and marketing promotion to buyers
  • Create and present regular business reviews internally and externally
  • Identify target markets and review customer trends
  • Develop and implement new products launch plans
  • Collaborate with Brand Team on supplier business plans and go to market strategies
  • Manage our social media strategy
  • Develop and implement our pricing strategies
  • Educate team about market, trends, competition and partners portfolio strategies
  • Provide ongoing training and assist with development of Trade Marketing Coordinators
  • Ensure management of supplier visits, trade shows and events

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, marketing specialization or equivalent. Master's degree (asset)
  • Ten (10) years of experience in sales, trade marketing experience with at least five (5) years of team management experience
  • Experience In the alcoholic beverage industry is a strong asset
