Colio Estate Wines Inc. requires a Retail Store Manager for its Nepean location at 1705 Merivale Road (Inside Metro), with responsibility for the daily operations and profitability of the store according to set goals and business objectives of the Company.
The duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Be the brand ambassador for Colio Estate Wines and Thornbury Cider.
- Management of daily operations.
- Meet financial objectives.
- Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing MOL regulations & AGCO regulations.
- Hands-on involvement in customer service.
- Part time staff recruitment, supervision, scheduling and training.
- Customer satisfaction and positive complaint resolution.
- Inventory management, physical counts and reconciliation.
- Participate in outside events, tastings to promote products.
- Safety and Sanitation within the store area.
- Any other duties as may be necessary or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Highschool diploma or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of direct work experience in a Retail environment.
- Experience with POS system.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- General mathematical skills.
- An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Able to work 40 hours a week including holidays and some weekends.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift items as heavy as 40 lbs.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Smart Serve certified.
- General wine and cider knowledge
