Office Administration Position
The Role:
The role of Office Administrator is responsible for the smooth and efficient management of the administrative tasks within Niagara Vintage Wine Tours logistics and all its general systems and office functions.
The position will be relied upon to provide key administrative support to ownership and its management team.
Skills required
- Performs general administrative duties; answering phone calls and performing sales duties to inquiring guest while processing correspondence.
- Strong e mail correspondence ( multiple email chains follow ups required)
- Be outgoing with strong interpersonal skills
- Have effective written and spoken communication skills
- Be able to prioritize, with strong time management and organization skills
- Experience with spreadsheets, email, and creating ads for small marketing initiatives on our web sites and SEO.
- Verbal sales, answering phones, taking reservations and inputting confirmations.
- Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for required travel
- Flexible schedule a combined weekdays & weekends
- ( for our 6 month peak season weekend time is a must )
- Opening and closing duties
- Work directly with ownership and management team but can work independently and make good use of time.
Job Requirements:
- Backround in Office Administration ( experience a must )
- Verbal communication in sales experience
- High level of computer literacy. (Ability to Learn Programs and be very organized )
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external parties both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Wine Country Knowledge an Asset
- Friendly and professional personality that strives on creating a collaborative working environment
