Position Summary
- We are looking for Tractor Operators for Seasonal Full Time positions for 2020. Applicants must be willing to work all weather conditions at our vineyards located in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Jordan for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Applicants must be available to start March 2020. Wage range is $17.50 to $21 per hour depending on experience and skill requirement of tasks performed. Training will be available to successful candidates.
Responsibilities
- The primary duty of this position is tractor operations utilizing vineyard equipment and work related to the standard operation of this equipment.
- Tasks including vine, canopy and fruit management, weed, disease and pest control, soil management, planting and young vine maintenance, harvesting, vineyard and trellis maintenance.
Qualifications
- No education required
- Experience in tractor operating and vineyard equipment is an asset, but is not required.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
