Pillitteri Estates Winery is seeking a motivated, positive and knowledgeable wine enthusiast to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural environment while providing excellent customer service and sales. The individual should be able to work independently as well as in a team setting and should possess the following skills:

Duties :

• Supervise 10-15 retail team members
• Manage daily traffic of touring program
• Planning and execution of on and off-site events
• Hire and train seasonal staff
• Staff assignment of daily responsibilities
• Provide great customer service to guests through educational tours and tastings
• Promote the sale of all products, events and Pillitteri Wine Club
• Handle daily opening and closing procedures – including daily inventory and cleaning
• Assist with the promotion, set-up and tear-down of special onsite hospitality events
• Participate and represent the winery at offsite functions, when/if required

Requirements: 

• Retail management experience an asset.
• Exemplary customer service skills with a proven track record in hospitality and sales.
• Formal wine education is not a requirement, but preferred. Successful candidates should possess an enthusiasm and desire to learn about all aspects of the wine making process and the many unique styles of wine
• Comfortable with public speaking and a strong multi-tasker
• Able to lift 40Ib cases of wine and stand for long periods of time and navigate stairs
• Above the age of 18 with Smart Serve certification and access to personal transportation
• Flexibility in scheduling (weekday, weekend, holidays and the occasional evening) is required

This position includes an hourly wage of $15.00-$16.00 as well as monthly bonuses and profit sharing.
