Marketing Coordinator

The Role: As a member of the Operations support Group at Canada’s First Organic & Biodynamic Winery; you are accountable for supporting the marketing strategies for each of our sales channels. Already having a few years of wine industry experience and your desire to be an integral member of an organization with a passion for wine, a social conscience, and which takes sustainability to heart; this will be your opportunity to enhance and develop existing skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
· Administer applications for external Promotional Events and Competitions
· Coordinate the Winery’s representation at off-site events
· Administer Licensee and Partnership Marketing Programs
· Coordinate the design and production of marketing collateral both print and digital by Sales channel
· Design and coordinate content for Newsletter and Subscriber correspondence.
· Support Retail Manager with planning and execution of Pavilion Events
· Maintain knowledge base of competitors and wine industry trends
· Archive product reviews and awards.
· Administer website content to ensure it is always current
· Work with service providers where applicable to ensure website optimization
· Coordinate the development and implementation of major website updates
· Design and execute a plan to build brand awareness, engagement, and sales through multiple social media platforms
· Use digital marketing analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
· Act as the primary contact for the winery’s social media presence by creating imagery and written content
· Upload content to the various social media platforms while on and offsite as appropriate
· Identify opportunities to better integrate the marketing capabilities of our business platform with Social Media
· Create Press Releases for major winery events and product releases
· Administer email correspondence of winery news and product updates as applicable for Licensees, Sales and Staff
· Administer all forms of Subscriber correspondence; Newsletter, New Release, and Events
· Coordinate sample distribution to influencers
Requirements:
· Marketing Diploma or Degree from a recognized College or University
· A minimum of 2 years in the Industry in a Marketing role.
· Has completed or is in the process of completing wine certification program
· Outstanding Written and Verbal communication skills
· Excellent computer skills primarily MS Word, MS Excel, and Photoshop
· Willingness and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as events may warrant
· Ability to lift 15kg
