The Hare Wine Co. is seeking passionate and engaging wine enthusiasts who are team-oriented and customer service driven. This dynamic role will include conducting tours, delivering tastings and working special events.

‪Duties:

• ‪Welcoming guests and providing an engaging and positive experience
• Educating guests about The Hare Wine Co. and our award-winning wines through, tastings, tours and retail sales
• Developing and maintaining wine and merchandise knowledge to support a superb retail experience
• ‪Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation of the retail area, tasting rooms and winery property
• Stocking and cleaning shelves
• Operation of POS system
• ‪Duties may also include packing and shipping wine orders, off-site tasting events and other winery opportunities

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• ‪High school Diploma or equivalent
• Smart Serve Certified
• Have reliable transportation
• Retail experience and active sales skills
• Flexible schedule (evenings, holidays and weekends)
• Passionate about the Ontario wine industry and excited to expand wine knowledge
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Comfortable public speaking and leading tours & tastings for small and large groups
• Experience working as a team, preferably in the wine or hospitality industry
• ‪Superior communication skills and ability to associate with a diverse group of winery visitors
• ‪Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40lbs.
• Previous wine sales experience an asset
