Vin Bon is excited to offer this excellent opportunity to someone with a passion for the wine industry and making high quality wine. As a cellar hand, you will be responsible for assisting in with the process of creating wine, including grape harvesting, crushing, fermentation, aging, blending and bottling.

Duties:

·      Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, hoses and pumps

·      Inoculations, additions, and transfers of product between tanks. 

·      Assisting with filtration of finished product

·      Receiving and unloading bins/pails of grapes and juice from trucks 

·      Operating grape press equipment

·      Assembling and wrapping pallets for shipping

·      Loading and unloading delivery trucks

·      Maintaining facility cleanliness in all production, packaging and warehouse areas

·      Overtime and shiftwork on evenings and weekends during peak harvest periods (Sept-Nov) 

·      Local Deliveries

Qualifications:

·      Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

·      Proven interpersonal and communication skills

·      Proven hard work and dedication

·      Ability to stand for extended periods of time

·      Ability to lift 55+ lbs

·      Ability to work in all weather conditions

·      Forklift license an asset

 

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 /hour

Experience:

·      Winery: 1 year (Preferred)

·      Driver’s License Class: G

·      Clean Driving Abstract

·      Clean Criminal Check
